Website integrations
Choose the right way to connect your website and publish Surpasso articles.
Connect your website once, then create website drafts or publish completed articles directly from Surpasso. Connecting is optional—you can continue writing and set it up later.
Choose the right connection
Open the guide that matches how your website was built.

|---|---|---|---|
| WordPress installed on your own host | WordPress | 2 minutes | Open guide |
| WordPress.com or a Jetpack-connected site | WordPress.com | 2 minutes | Open guide |
| Shopify store | Shopify | 2 minutes | Open guide |
| Webflow site with a CMS Collection | Webflow | 3 minutes | Open guide |
| Wix site with Wix Blog | Wix | 2 minutes | Open guide |
| Ghost publication | Ghost | 3 minutes | Open guide |
| Framer site with a CMS Collection | Framer | 4 minutes | Open guide |
| Make, Zapier, n8n, Lovable, or a custom receiver | Webhook | 7 minutes | Open guide |
| Custom site with its own pages or content layer | Content API | 10 minutes | Open guide |
| Next.js App Router site | Next.js | 10 minutes | Open guide |
The simplest way to choose
- If your website uses a listed platform, choose that platform directly.
- If your website uses Next.js, start with the Next.js guide and starter.
- If you already use Make, Zapier, or n8n, choose Webhook.
- If your custom website already has its own article pages and content system, choose Content API.
What happens after connection
Once a connection is ready, an article can be sent as a private website draft or published immediately when the platform supports it. Sending the same Surpasso article again updates the existing website article instead of creating a duplicate.
Framer is intentionally draft-only. Publishing a Framer project may also make other project changes live, so Surpasso leaves that final decision to you.
What each direct integration currently sends
| Platform | Draft | Publish | Update the same article | Fields sent automatically |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| WordPress | Yes | Yes | Yes | Title, body, excerpt, slug, categories, tags, featured image |
| WordPress.com | Yes | Yes | Yes | Title, body, excerpt, slug, categories, tags, featured image |
| Shopify | Yes | Yes | Yes | Title, author, body, summary, slug, tags, featured image |
| Webflow | Yes | Yes | Yes | The compatible CMS fields selected during connection |
| Wix | Yes | Yes | Yes | Title, body, excerpt, slug, SEO title, SEO description |
| Ghost | Yes | Yes | Yes | Title, body, excerpt, slug, SEO fields, tags, featured image |
| Framer | Yes | In Framer | Yes | Required title and body, plus compatible fields you map |
Deleting a Surpasso article does not automatically delete its website copy. Delete that copy in the website platform when needed.
Keeping a connection healthy
- Test the connection after changing permissions, keys, domains, or CMS fields.
- Reconnect a revoked credential instead of sharing an account password.
- Rotate a Webhook or Content API secret immediately if it is exposed.
- Open the platform-specific guide for exact setup and troubleshooting steps.
