Set up Brand Context
Give Surpasso an accurate, editable understanding of your business, audience, competitors, and brand identity.
Brand Context is the foundation for research, recommendations, and article writing in Surpasso. It gives the product a shared understanding of what your business does and who the content should serve.
Create your Brand Context
- Open Brand Context.
- Enter a public website that your business owns or manages.
- Select Understand my brand.
- You can leave the page while Surpasso reviews the website, then return when the result is ready.
The website should be your company's own public site. A third-party profile or app-store listing is not a replacement for the primary website.
Review the result
The result is divided into three areas:
- Brand: website, brand name, business type, industry, target markets, content languages, sitemap, blog page, and a description of the business.
- Audience & Competitors: the people or companies you serve and the competing websites that may shape your market.
- Brand kit: logo, icon, colors, and brand font used to keep visual output recognizable.
Treat the first result as a useful starting point. Review the facts that most strongly affect content—especially your description, target markets, languages, audiences, and competitors—then select Save changes.
If a logo, color, or another field was not found, you can add it yourself. You can also return later to edit individual fields without rescanning the site.
When to scan again
Use Scan again when the website or positioning has changed substantially, such as after a rebrand, new market launch, or major product update. For small corrections, edit and save the existing Brand Context instead.
Scanning creates a working brand profile; it is not a complete website audit or proof of website ownership.
What happens next
Once Brand Context is accurate, continue to research. Its markets, languages, audiences, and competitors help Surpasso prepare more relevant starting points.
