Content Planning & Writing

Set Global Article Settings

Choose reusable writing, research, link, visual, brand, and call-to-action preferences for generated articles.

Global Article Settings control the choices you want Surpasso to reuse across articles. Recommended defaults are already selected, so you can begin without configuring every field.

Changes save automatically. Wait for All changes saved before leaving if you have just made an important adjustment. Reset to recommended restores the recommended setup.

Quality and writing style

Choose generation quality, article length, point of view, and voice. Balanced quality, Standard length, and second person are the general recommendations; the recommended voice is matched to your homepage positioning and audience.

Use Best quality when a topic needs more research and reasoning. Use Concise for a focused answer and In-depth only when the subject genuinely needs more coverage.

  • Choose Light, Standard, or Strong internal linking. Only verified Core Recommendations from Internal Links are considered while writing.
  • Keep research and credible citations enabled when the article contains claims, figures, or current information.
  • Exclude competitor sites from citations and add other domains you do not want used as sources.

The number of links can vary with the article and available evidence. Settings guide the draft; they do not justify adding irrelevant links.

Structure and visuals

Enable or disable the introduction, key takeaways, table of contents, conclusion, and FAQ. You can also choose whether Surpasso should prepare a featured image, infographics, and a relevant YouTube video, plus the preferred cover style.

Visuals are generated separately after the article draft, so you can review the text first.

Brand and call to action

Choose how prominently the brand should be mentioned and whether the article should have one closing CTA, an additional mid-article CTA, or no CTA. Confirm the CTA landing page and add optional instructions when the action needs specific wording or context.

Brand Rules help keep writing accurate and appropriate—for example, avoiding guaranteed results, exaggerated claims, keyword stuffing, and unsupported statements. Add Global Writing Instructions only for guidance that should apply to nearly every article.

Use Article Details, rather than global instructions, for a requirement that belongs to only one article.
