Run Keyword Research
Build an evidence-based keyword library from seed terms, competitor gaps, or a list you already have.
Keyword Research builds a reusable library of search terms and the evidence you need to compare them. Choose the target market and language before you begin so the results match the audience you want to reach.
Three ways to add keywords
Seed Keywords
Enter one to five terms that describe the problem, category, or solution. If you need a starting point, Surpasso can suggest editable seed terms from your Brand Context. This method discovers and validates related searches.
Competitor Gap
Add up to eight competitor domains to find terms competitors rank for that your site may not cover. Competitors from Brand Context are filled in as a starting point and can be changed before research begins.
Manual Add
Paste up to 500 keywords you already know. Surpasso removes duplicates and collects available metrics, making this useful when you are moving an existing keyword list into the workspace.
Research continues in the background and then opens a five-step review. You can inspect what each strategy found, see how overlapping terms were merged, and deselect irrelevant results. Nothing enters the Keyword Library until you confirm the final selection.
Read the library
Use filters for search intent, source, market, or opportunity-sync state. The main metrics include:
- Volume: estimated search activity for the selected market.
- KD: relative ranking difficulty; a higher number usually means stronger competition.
- CPC and competition: advertising-market signals that can help indicate commercial interest, but do not guarantee business value.
- Trend: how search activity changes over time.
- SERP features: special result types that appear for the query.
Metrics help you compare ideas; they are estimates, not promises of traffic or rankings. Relevance to your audience and product still matters.
Send research to Opportunities
The sync state shows whether a keyword has been added to Opportunities, is up to date, or has new research available. Open Opportunities and select Sync latest research to merge new evidence into the planning view.
