Run AI Prompt Research
Discover the questions buyers may ask AI systems and the supporting questions needed to answer them well.
AI Prompt Research helps you understand how a potential customer may express a need while using an AI assistant. It complements keyword data with questions, comparisons, concerns, and decision criteria.
Choose how to add prompts
Use Start new research when you want Surpasso to discover Buyer Prompts from your Brand Context. Use Add manually when you already know the questions you want to track.
Start a research run
- Choose the target market and language.
- Choose the maximum number of results per category.
- Add optional context if the research should focus on a product, audience, use case, or constraint.
- Continue to Category selection and choose which of the nine buyer-prompt categories to generate. No AI runs before you confirm this selection.
- Generate the prompt map. You can leave the page while it continues, then review fan-out paths and duplicate matches before choosing which prompts to add to the library.
Surpasso offers nine parts of a buying journey: problem or goal, fit, capability, cost and value, recommendations, alternatives, process and timing, proof and trust, and risks or objections. The generation task receives only the categories you select. Generated results stay in the review wizard until you confirm the final selection.
Add Buyer Prompts manually
- Choose the target market and prompt language.
- Enter one Buyer Prompt per line, with up to 20 prompts in one run.
- Generate Fan-out Queries. Surpasso keeps the submitted wording, assigns the required category, Core Query, modifiers, and Priority, and checks the existing library for duplicates.
- Review the same Prompt map and deduplication steps used by generated research, then confirm which prompts to add to the library.
Exact duplicate lines are ignored before the run. Prompts that match an existing library question are shown as merge updates; only new prompts receive new Fan-out Queries.
Buyer Prompts and Fan-out Queries
A Buyer Prompt is the main question a potential customer may ask while researching or choosing a solution.
Fan-out Queries are the supporting questions needed to answer that Buyer Prompt thoroughly. They provide coverage guidance and evidence for the main need; they are not automatically separate article ideas.
Expand a library row to see its core question, why it was prioritized, and the fan-out questions behind it.
The Priority score is a 0–100 AI assessment of business relevance, decision importance, and how well the brand can answer the prompt. It is not search volume or an accuracy score.
Review the library
Filter by category, market, modifiers, or opportunity-sync state. Modifiers can show useful context such as persona, location, budget, urgency, company size, scenario, or constraint.
The library may also show estimated AI search volume and trend when that data is available. An unavailable estimate does not make the Buyer Prompt invalid; use the question's relevance, priority reason, and supporting queries together.
These are structured research findings based on your brand and selected market. They should not be read as a list of private or individually observed conversations from a specific AI product.
