About this tool

This audit reads a Google Search Console comparison CSV, detects comparable click columns, and ranks pages with meaningful losses in clicks, impressions, or average position. It uses observed performance changes rather than publication age alone, then gives a short refresh direction for each candidate so teams can investigate the highest-impact pages first.

What you get

A clear, usable result

  • A page or URL column plus current-versus-previous clicks or an exported click-difference column.
  • Optional impression and position changes that help separate snippet, demand, and ranking symptoms.
  • A transparent priority order and a diagnosis prompt for up to fifty refresh candidates.
How to read the result

Act first

Start with the items that change whether a content refresh decision can work at all. Confirm the evidence on the live page or source file, make the smallest safe correction, and run the same check again after publishing.

Review with context

A warning is not automatically a defect. Compare it with the page purpose, the intended audience, the available first-party evidence, and the rest of the site before changing a template that may affect many URLs.

Measure the outcome

Treat the output as a decision aid, not a ranking promise. Keep a record of the change, allow the relevant crawler or reporting period to update, and compare the business or search outcome with the baseline.

Limitations and sources
  • A decline does not prove content decay. Seasonality, tracking changes, brand demand, SERP features, migrations, indexing problems, or a changed reporting window may produce the same pattern. Confirm query-level and page-level evidence in Search Console.
  • The free run is deliberately bounded so it stays fast, respectful of websites, and inexpensive to operate. It is not a substitute for an exhaustive authenticated crawl, a scheduled monitor, or manual editorial review.
  • Results reflect the supplied input and the public response observed during this run. JavaScript-only content, blocked bots, incomplete exports, temporary network behavior, or missing business context can change the conclusion.
