Connect Google Search Console
Connect a workspace to its Google Search Console Domain property with read-only access.
Connect Google Search Console once to bring real Google Search results into Surpasso Analytics. Surpasso matches the website automatically, so you do not need to choose from a long list of properties.
Before you start
Make sure that:
- The workspace has the correct website domain.
- Your Google account can access that site's complete Domain property in Google Search Console.
- You are authorized to use the account and website data.
Your Google account does not need to use the same email address as your Surpasso account.
Connect Google
- Open Workspace → Google Search Console.
- Select Connect Google.
- Choose the Google account that has access to the website.
- Allow the requested read-only Search Console access.
- Return to Surpasso while it checks the workspace domain.
When an exact Domain property is available, Surpasso connects it automatically. The page then shows the connected Google account, website domain, and access level.
Surpasso does not ask for permission to edit your website, change Search Console settings, or change site ownership.
If you have more than one workspace
Surpasso can reuse the same Google authorization for other workspaces you add. If that Google account has access to each workspace's complete Domain property, Surpasso can match those domains without asking you to sign in again.
Each workspace still keeps its own website connection and Analytics data.
Change or reconnect the Google account
Use Change Google account when you need to authorize a different account. Use Reconnect Google when access has expired or was revoked. After a successful authorization, Surpasso checks your workspace domains again.
Disconnect Google
Disconnecting removes the saved Google authorization and GSC connections for all of your workspaces. Analytics will stop receiving new Google data until you connect again. Content already created or published with Surpasso is not deleted.
