Build your Internal Links library
Scan, review, and maintain the website pages Surpasso can use as relevant internal-link destinations.
Internal Links organizes the pages on your website that are worth linking to from generated articles. The library stores a recommended page name, URL, purpose, and category so a link can be chosen for its meaning, not just its address.
Scan your website
- Make sure the correct website is saved in Brand Context.
- Open Internal Links and select Scan website.
- You can leave the page while the scan continues in the background.
- Return to review the saved results.
Use Scan again after important website changes or when you want Surpasso to look for newly added pages. A partial scan can still leave useful saved links; the page will tell you when some areas should be retried.
Understand the two libraries
- Core Recommendations: high-value pages suitable for frequent linking. These are the verified pages article writing currently uses.
- Long-tail Catalog: more specific detail pages that may fit narrower contexts.
Filter by category or search the recommended page name and URL. Common categories include Home, Products, Tools, Solutions, Resources, and Case Studies.
Review and maintain links
For each page, review:
- Default anchor: the recommended way to refer to the page. Article writing may adapt it naturally to fit the sentence.
- Page URL: the destination on your own website.
- Page purpose: what a reader can learn or do there.
- Category: the role the page plays on the site.
You can edit these fields, add a page the scan missed, or delete a page that should not be used. Scan results are saved automatically; manual edits need Save changes.
Only add valid URLs from the current product website. Keep the name and purpose specific enough that the writing workflow can tell when the page is relevant.
Use the library in article writing
Open Global Article Settings and choose Light, Standard, or Strong internal linking. Surpasso then considers verified Core Recommendations while writing and adapts anchor text to the article's context.
Always review the final article. The displayed link count confirms what is actually present in the current draft, and irrelevant links should be removed even if the destination itself is valid.
